BREAKFAST....and the supper/self catering compromise:

A substantial, wholesome, buffet continental breakfast is available in the dining room comprising fruit in season, juice, yoghurt, cereals, a selection of bagels, muffins, croissants, pancakes & pastries with a variety of preserves and tea or coffee. You are welcome to make use of the dining room facilities and to warm up pre-prepared meals in the microwave if you prefer.... or order from Mr Delivery. There are 6 restaurants nearby in Linden if you want to eat out. viz- Die Blou Hond, Satori, Paulo, Mama Tembo's, Piccolo and the Suan Thai. Parkhurst and Greenside and Emmerentia, Melville and Rosebank,- the "Gourmet Mile of Jhb" and the Cresta Mall and Brightwater common are all close by. There is a Spar on the far corner of our block and a Woolworths and Pick and Pay a few blocks further away.
 

ACTIVITIES

Linden boasts a covered/heated swimming pool, with Emmerentia Dam and Delta Park in the vicinity. We are a stones throw away from some of the best golf courses in Joburg; Parkview, Wanderers, Bryanston Country Club, Houghton, Royal Jhb & Kensington Golf Club. We are conveniently close to most Conference Centres, Theatres, Art Galleries, Hospitals, & Universities. The Brightwater Common, Coca Cola Dome & Monte Casino provides a wide variety of entertainment with top restaurants & cinemas, & major shopping malls and most sports clubs are nearby.

Cherry Tree Cottage is ideally placed for the traveller wishing to overnight in Gauteng, en route to Natal, the Cape, or North West Province and Mpumelanga. Stay over a night or two before setting out to discover the Kruger Park, Sun City, the Drakensberg, Garden Route and Wine Route. Take time out to visit the Apartheid Museum, Constitution Hill, the Origins Centre, Maropeng, or even Sun City and Pilansberg Nature Reserve.
